Understanding the Problem:

The decline in younger volunteers in community organizations can be attributed to various factors, but it hinges on misaligned incentives and a lack of voluntary participation. Existing organizations often operate using hierarchical, top-down models that stifle individual initiative and fail to capture the diverse needs and motivations of potential volunteers. Additionally, reliance on state funding or centralized coordination can create inefficiencies and disincentivize local engagement.
